ANTENNA!

The People's Shoe white/blue classic as seen in the Spring 2009 Issue of ANTENNA Magazine. Antenna is the first mainstream magazine to target individuals who are on a constant quest for the newest and coolest products on the horizon. And it does so without using celebrities, models, concept shoots, service stories and whatever else they deem superfluous to their mission: to become a guidebook, allowing readers to navigate the most extensive collection of products ever compiled in a single publication, while championing the people who create, sell and collect them—all in one comprehensive, artful, elegant and innovative format. Antenna is considered to be a non-disposable magazine in a disposable world.

Compass Tradeshow

We recently participated in our first tradeshow, Compass, in Las Vegas Feb 12- 14th. The show, put on by New York Fashion Agency, BPMW , was a big success for The People's Shoe! While minglin' and slingin' with some of our favorite labels, we revealed our AW09 line up. The new line (which includes the All White People's Hi and All Black People's Lo) were a huge hit with retailers & press... standing out with their sleek design, comfort and value.

We also did some great press including talks with a top mens' mag, and a feature interview with Nicekicks.com.

Amongst all this business we managed to have some fun (and drinks) while listening to DJ Lucas Walters (who is now rockin' TPS in the Bronx!) and the crew later at the Peppermill Lounge (old skool vegas). Heavy heads on Saturday morning, we cruised back to LA in The People's Van with smiles on our throbbin' heads.
